Jex and Layla have been inseparable since they were kids, as the only young people aboard a research vessel. But when Jex goes off-ship to school, cracks form in their relationship, and they both begin to develop intense obsessions. When they reunite, they have a shared purpose, but it's one that could destroy them for good.
